Services
Concept Development · 2D Animation

Graphics sequences for The Big Spring Clean, a factual series in which Phil Spencer tackles Britain's clutter crisis, built around chaos rearranging itself into neat, tidy order.

The Brief

Phil Spencer tackles Britain's clutter crisis as he dispatches a team of specialists to free up space and redesign a family home in Devon, showing everyone can learn to live better with less. Professional organiser Vicky Silverthorn helps the Hall family find the courage to begin a clear-out, while architect Phil Coffey and upcycling product designer Max McMurdo design innovative, affordable, family-friendly storage solutions.

What Cumi Created

The graphics sequences Cumi created were inspired by the popular "things organised neatly" craze. Each sequence starts in chaos and disorder, then watches as the same items rearrange themselves into something neat and tidy, with a slight aesthetic appeal.

The Big Spring Clean: stationery, a paper stack, pencil pot, eraser and sharpener
The Big Spring Clean: a scattered pile of gold spoons
The Big Spring Clean: a striped tie with a pencil, screwdriver and eraser
