Bing: Jerry's Story
An almost-awesome project that never fully happened and yet did: a 20-panel storyboard for Microsoft Bing's "Jerry's Story", the one episode made from a planned series called The Bings, following characters using Bing (the "decision engine") to make everyday decisions.

The Brief
An almost awesome project that never fully happened and yet did. Planned as a series of 4 to 22 episodes, The Bings charted the journey of a large number of characters as they used Microsoft's new search engine — or should we say, the "decision engine" — to find out everything from where to find the best holidays and cheapest flights, to where is the best mountain to sky dive off into a frozen lake full of sushi. Cumi so fell in love with the characters and ideas that Jack Morton commissioned the making of the first episode, Jerry's Story, told here as a 20-panel storyboard. It was a lot of fun, but Cumi would still have loved to animate tornados, a dance crew full of 55-year-old men, and a hero-girl-wins-gal scene amid an exploding truck, starring the made-up star "Brad Bravado".
