A full graphics package for Scream Films' Invasion of the Bodyscratchers, Sky One's gruesome science series following scientist Dr Mike Leahy (Horizon, Rough Science) as he donates his own body to the science of parasitology — becoming host to bloodsuckers from microscopic single-celled bugs to four-metre giants, and persuading friends and family to join his parasite-growing experiments. Cumi worked from design through storyboard to final animation, taking the brief to put the presenter in danger at every turn, and delivering the HD title sequence, break bumpers, stings and graphic beds for text across the series' three episodes: domestic parasites like head lice and bed bugs, an internal-parasite episode built around a tapeworm that reached 217cm, and a final episode on foreign parasites including the bot fly, tumbu fly, kissing bug and candirú fish.
