Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep — Game Play Trailers

Services
Motion Graphics · 2D Animation

Five branded game play trailers for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, an action role-playing game that combines Final Fantasy-style aesthetics with recognisable Disney worlds, set before the events of the original Kingdom Hearts. Working closely alongside Deuces David Standen, Cumi adopted artwork from the two Kingdom Hearts websites and built a world in which to screen the game play, branding each trailer to match the website rather than simply letting raw footage speak for itself. The five trailers were released at intervals to build interest in the game and were produced in five languages (English, Spanish, German, French and Italian): Trailer One introduces the three playable characters, Terra, Ventus and Aqua; Trailer Two tours some of the game's worlds; Trailer Three, 'All Out Attack', shows off Deck Commands, Shotlocks and combos in battle; Trailer Four covers the Dimension Link System and introduces the character Pete; and the fifth trailer shows the game's range of multiplayer battles, from Arena mode to rumble racing and puzzle games.
