A corporate film for Shell moving between real footage, hand-drawn illustration and 3D animation, covering biofuel, the Shell liveWIRE young-business programme and the Shell FLNG vessel, before closing on a mosaic built from real-world photographs.

What Cumi Created

The film opens on real footage (a gas hob flame, a factory conveyor belt) before moving into a hand-drawn sequence built around the word "RESPONSIBLE", illustrating a fuel pump and sugar cane under the heading "BIOFUEL". It moves into a branded photography sequence for "Shell liveWIRE, supporting bright young business", then into a 3D-animated sequence of the Shell FLNG vessel, its own wordmark visible on the hull. It closes on a mosaic built from dozens of real-world photographs, before settling on the plain Shell logo.
